Why Faro?

Since the 1970s, the Algarve has established itself as Portugal’s leading tourist destination and, in more recent years, as Europe’s leading tourist destination. This has been achieved not only because of the landscape, the mild climate and the constant investment in the tourist industry, but also because of the people who make a decisive contribution to making the tourist experience ever more enriching.

The municipality of Faro, the district capital, is a destination of excellence which, strangely enough, remains little known given the global dimension of the region in which it is located, especially given its exceptional characteristics, which we know well, and the inhabitants’ ever-present availability to visitors.

With a caricatured and amusing, curious and uncompromising narrative, we intend to present this story which, by association, also becomes the story of the spectator, the inhabitant and the visitor who has already come here or who is yet to come.
